Our Story
In the early 1990s, Kevin Willis began serving in prison ministry. Through those experiences, he encountered men and women who were struggling with addiction, broken relationships, and cycles of incarceration. Many of them wanted a different life but lacked the support, structure, and opportunity to truly change their path.
Over the years, Kevin witnessed something powerful: when people are given accountability, mentorship, and a community that believes in them, real transformation can take place. Lives can be rebuilt. Families can be restored. Purpose can be rediscovered.
That belief planted a dream in his heart — to create a place where people could step away from destructive cycles and begin walking a new path toward restoration and purpose.
For many years, that dream remained just that — a dream. But the vision never left.
Today, A Prodigal’s Path is becoming a reality. The mission is simple but powerful: to create an environment where men and women can rebuild their lives through mentorship, discipline, faith, and community.
We believe no life is too far gone. Everyone deserves the opportunity for a second chance.
A Prodigal’s Path exists to help people find their way back — and to walk with them as they move forward.
